The new ZG has been significantly enhanced with stronger and faster swinging performance while increasing light weight and comfort. All elements of the upper midsole, and outsole are changed from the previous ZG21 model and greatly evolved as a tour-level power shoe that allows you to swing stronger and faster. The midsole uses LIGHTSTRIKE PRO, the first golf shoes, and the structure and shape have been revised from scratch, and the energy return and stability of the midsole that leads to increased head speed. The same material is 18% lighter than BOOST but has higher rebound performance and less deformation to support aggressive footwork. By covering the LIGHTSTRIKE PRO with a frame of a more rigid regular LIGHTSTRIKE material that controls overcrushing in the outer perimeter of the sole where pressure is concentrated at the time of swing, increasing stability. In addition, it uses a new shape that surrounds both sides of the foot and around the heel, so it provides powerful control of the swing without interfering with walking performance and light weight.

買替えに当たりMizuno, Footjoyを試したが、甲が低い自分には本品がフィット、またゴルフシューズは頻繁に脱ぎ履きするわけでは無いので、BOAの利便性より微妙な調整ができる紐締めを選択。スパイクレスも使っているが、とんでもない傾斜地から打つこともしばしばなので、スパイクに加えしっかりしたソールデザインによる抜群のグリップと安定感に助けられます。

もともとアシックスシューズは自分の足に馴染んでいたけど、これは足全体を優しく包む感覚でフィット感抜群でした。BOAタイプが人気ですが、自分としては微調整できる紐タイプが好みですね。
